We offer internationally recognized NAUI-certified Freediving and Mermaiding courses, as well as weekend outings and ocean adventures for our growing underwater family.

Mermaiding Courses
Yes, you really can be a mermaid.
Our mermaiding courses are open to anyone aged 11 and up — no experience needed, just a sense of fun and wonder. Learn to swim gracefully in a mermaid tail, build water confidence, and become part of an inclusive, joyful pod that meets regularly for “fun swims” and playful practice.
Because you’re never too young (or too grown-up) to believe in a little magic.
Weekend Dive Adventures
Once you’re certified, the real fun begins.
Freedive Johannesburg heads out nearly every weekend to Bass Lake or Miracle Waters, two stunning local dive sites. Whether you’re practicing your technique or just soaking up the peace of the water, our weekend dives are where community and experience meet.
All certified freedivers and mermaids are welcome to join!

We organize unforgettable trips to Marico Oog, Sodwana, and even Mozambique, offering deeper dives, warmer waters, and bucket-list memories. These group getaways are open to all certified freedivers and mermaids — an incredible way to grow your skills and share the magic with like-minded ocean lovers.
